Top Gun Australia Pty Ltd is an adventure flight company in Australia (the first one in fact). The owners as well as the operators of the company are former pilots of the U.S. Air Force and are highly experienced in aviation. On a regular basis, the flights operate from the Hobart International Airport and occasionally, it operates from Devonport, Wynyard and Launceston. The company has gained the distinction of being the sole company (of adventure flight) that operates from an airport located in a capital city in Australia. Daniel Duggan is the chief pilot of Top Gun and Holger Funken is the COO (chief operations officer). Ben Meares and Trent Kenagy are two other pilots in the team.
Top Gun uses flights from the Jet Provost series and the Nanchang war-bird flights. It offers five missions on the jet flights namely top gun jet adventure, tactical fighter jet profiles, low altitude tactics mission, the ultimate top gun jet adventure and dog fighting while it offers two missions on the war-bird flights namely classic aerobatics and the Nanchang reconnaissance. The company also offers a pick-up service from anywhere in Tasmania and flight training (jet endorsed one). The company specialises in training corporate groups and offer a corporate training as well as personal development course or program called ACETS (standing for Air Combat Experience Training Syllabus). Various merchandises of Top Gun such as badges, photo and DVD pack, T-Shirts, aviator leather Jackets, caps and so on are also sold by the company. The company has strategic affiliations with corporates such as Virgin Blue, Retireinwest, Book It Now, Tasair Pty Ltd, Zentel Pty ltd and so on.
