The Front Man is an organisation that is wholly owned by a Tasmanian and it specialises in meeting facilitation, conference management, corporate training and association management. The company was established in the year 2001 and has its main office located in Hobart, Tasmania.

Mr Robert Mallet, a small business owner, a Tasmanian entrepreneur, association manager and communication trainer, manages and operates The Front Man. Mr Mallet’s experience comprises of around two decades as an owner and operator of a retail store with high commitment of service to every customer. He has also worked for TPS i.e. Tasmanian Public Service. In that role, he co-ordinated a significant part of the national small business development programme. This programme assisted small and budding business owners in their search for knowledge and in building their businesses.

The training provided by the company is usually in Hobart but it is also done state-wide with prior appointment. The employer training caters to the professional development of employers and employees. Some of the major courses include coaching in small workplaces, designing a workplace manual, the hidden rules of work, it’s the little things that count, Managers as mentors and so on.

Workplace relations seminar is also provided at scheduled dates. Meeting facilitation with an independent chair is also enabled by the company to deal with difficult management issues in an equitable and fair manner.

Robert Mallet also essays the role of the front man or MC in conferences, fund-raising dinners, events and presentations and has ample experience in the same.
